The Madison Area Music Awards supports Madison school music programs by holding a "Grammy-like" Awards ceremony every year for Madison Musicians. This year The Lucas Cates Band is up for 4 nominations including: Best Pop Song, Best Pop Artist, Best Pop Album, and Entertainer of the year! David Adler
Dave Adler is a nationally established composer, arranger, and keyboard player. After serving as musical director at Chicago's Second City, Annoyance, and ImprovOlympic theaters, he completed USC's acclaimed graduate program specializing in scoring for motion pictures and television. Adler's recent keyboard and production work is featured on WILLY PORTER’s latest release, Available Light (Weasel Records). Additional clients include Apple Computer, the Discovery Channel, HBO, the Chicago Bulls, and the Green Bay Packers. He is also a proud member of the Gomers, official house band of Madison, Wisconsin. Oh... and did we mention he played on Lucas' record?
